LEARNING SOME BASIC INDONESIAN LANGUAGE

TIME FRAME (continued)

When to say : next (time frame) or last (time frame), we just put
DEPAN > The+p+un(tie) for NEXT and LALU > La(tiva)+Loo(p) for LAST.
Depan and Lalu is not literraly means Next and Last.

Examples :
Next Monday = Senin depan - Last Wednesday = Rabu lalu
Next week = minggu depan - last month = bulan lalu

Here we notice that in English order is NEXT / LAST then (timeframe)
on the contrary in Indonesian order, we use (timeframe) then DEPAN / LALU

For THE DAY AFTER tomorrow / THE DAY BEFORE yesterday
we use bêsok LUSA > Lu(cy)+Su(ck) and kemarin DULU > Do+Lu(cy)
LUSA and DULU is not literraly means THE DAY AFTER / BEFORE.

Time clock, we use JAM > Jum(p) or
PUKUL > Pu(ll)+cool, both are the same

Examples :
Jam sepuluh dua lima
means 10.25 - pukul dua belas means 12 o'clock
pukul tiga sore means 3 afternoon - jam 8 pagi means 8 morning, etc.

while ten to six o'clock is jam enam KURANG (literaly = MINUS) sepuluh,
and five PAST eleven is jam sebelas LEWAT lima.
