Learn Basic Indonesian Language - page 8

LEARNING SOME BASIC INDONESIAN LANGUAGE
Indonesian language is a simple language. It doesn't have the tenses,
and some of the sentences can be said dis-orderly yet still the same meaning.
Here are some examples :

TIME FRAME (continued)

TONIGHT = INI MALAM or vice cersa MALAM INI
LAST NIGHT = KEMARIN MALAM / MALAM KEMARIN
TODAY = HARI INI / INI HARI
THIS AFTERNOON = INI SORE / SORE INI

In bahasa, within the same day if the time frame has passed,
we sometimes use TADI > Tu(ck)+di(p) followed by time frame.

Tadi pagi jam enam or
tadi jam enam pagi
jam enam tadi pagi
jam enam pagi tadi
they are all the SAME = SAMA
means this morning at 6 o'clock

and within the same day if the time frame is in the future,
we sometimes use ENTAR > (michael mads)en+tar.

Entar siang jam satu or entar jam satu siang
means this afternoon at 1 o'clock.
